In the settlement of Pyrgi, on Epiphany day, “the residents are obliged, after the entertainment, to go home to disguise themselves and then return to the feast again. Their costumes are made of skins, sheepskin and bells. The feast continues throughout St. John’s Day and the participants keep it up until the next day.”
