Starting from the Neolithic era, based on the findings in the city's Archaeological Museum, the story continues with the Roman and Byzantine eras and ends with the era of the Turkish occupation and the Balkan Wars.The monuments reveal the intense influences of the region and the harmonization of everything new in the everyday life of the inhabitants.
