Hiking and climbing in Drama

Drama, having a special geomorphology, with mountains, meadows, forests, waterfalls, lakes and many points of interest, is an ideal destination for excursions and walking excursions. You can choose hiking routes such as the ecotourism-naturalist route, hike the streets of Dionysos or take your children and explore nature. The choice is yours! There are many routes and all you will need is your equipment, a positive attitude and good company!
Choose between routes very close to the city such as the circular route of Korylovos or further afield such as that of Falakro Mountain!
Each route has a special beauty and combines adventure and essential contact with nature!
To walk to Korylovo, start your route from the city of Drama on foot or by car. Head towards Panorama from Stratos Avenue, 2.7 kilometers from the center of Drama, you will meet the Panorama kiosk on your left, from where you can start your route through the pine forest of Korylovo hill. The route is clearly marked, it does not present any particular difficulties, however if your physical condition is not good enough, keep a slow and steady pace on the uphill parts. Do not forget that this is a natural environment where you may encounter reptiles. For this reason, pay special attention to your safety, especially during the summer months. At the top of the hill, you can enjoy the wonderful view!
For routes to places such as Falakro Oros, the Livaditis Waterfall, the Lepida and Ag. Varvaras, Tulumbari and other remote routes, you will need your car, equipment and good physical condition! Most trails are clearly signposted and regularly maintained. However, if you have never visited the area before, it is better to ask a professional for directions!
