Paranesti is a lowland village in the area of Drama and is the last point where one can get supplies for his expedition in the wider region. The land of Paranesti is characterized by the beauty of its rich forests, the rare vegetation found in them and the multitude of species of flora and fauna! On a trip one can admire the streams with old arched bridges and beautiful waterfalls, the scattered villages that today are ruins with the churches testifying to the human presence in previous decades. Within such a landscape one can hike on marked paths, through the forests and the beauty of nature.
