The atmosphere of the most “magical” holiday of the year, seeps into wooden houses, comes out of chimneys and reaches even the tallest trees, from there it dives into illuminated ponds, jumps from water lily to water lily and, accompanied by Christmas melodies, follows routes from bridges and paths, seducing anyone who is there to the rhythm of the days. The road to this magical atmosphere leads to Drama. Every year, the municipal garden and the city’s central square are transformed into fairy-tale scenes and all visitors become protagonists, in the ultimate Christmas fairy tale: Oneiroupoli!
Santa’s arms are always open and he generously offers warmth, joy, love and lots and lots of candy! With his red clothes, his white hair and beard, his fluffy belly and his round glasses, he is the star of the theme park of Dream Town! And if someone tells you that Santa Claus doesn’t exist, you can tell him that you saw him in the Dream Town of Drama! And if they keep questioning you, then show them the selfie you took with him! Every corner of Oniroupolis, in the municipal garden and in the central square of Drama, smells like… Christmas! You just have to see for yourself that all dreams can come true!
The “Forest of Wishes and Hope” embraces your wishes with its tree branches! Come let’s dig into the forest and decorate the branches of the trees together so that even more wishes travel to every corner of the planet. The beautiful wooden house you will find in the Forest of Wishes and Hope is full of surprises. The Love Fairies have made sure to be a warm and welcoming place for everyone. A huge fairy bag is waiting to be filled with your own beautiful thoughts and somewhere inside the house a strange frame is ready for you to take the sweetest selfies of this year’s Christmas! Master pastry chef Oberon and his mischievous assistant, Elwood, await us at the laboratory bench to discover the science hidden in their kitchen. With music, fun and a hilarious presentation full of pranks and blunders, we enter the microcosm of gastronomy and finally understand how sugar can be used to make hair and how truffles can be used to launch a rocket!
Entrance to Oneiroupolis is free and participation in the activities is completely free. A bright smile and a good mood are a prerequisite for entering the biggest Christmas celebration!
